actually while working there, many had asked y if i could stayed there for so long. the reasons is very simple. when i started working, there's this bunch of regulars who will always be there on every friday. they are a group of 4 or more ppl who are namely, fabian, winson (ah beng), jacky cheung and 4 eye frog. during tat time, fabian will be the funny guy and also one shoulder to lean on guy. should we be bullied by others or kena drunk by other customers, we'll straight away walk to dis last table and borrow a shoulder from fabian to lean on. such caring and humourous guy finally caught the attention of our pretty anges, who's also the senior waitress at destiny back then. they got together and slowly, anges quitted her job at destiny. desni was the 2nd to quit and followed by melody. at the point of time, there's only left wif me as the most senior then, stephanie who's still quite new. slowly, many waitresses come n go. until there's only me, steph and victoria. feeling in us grew and our frenship developed further. due to some family problem, steph and vic left destiny for day job and tat's the time when my lil monkey joined me. although the time for us to get together is short, however, we share many same common interest and i jus had dis feeling tat i wanna protect dis lil girl frm any danger and harm. not letting her to get hurt frm frenship and of cus relationships as well. n i'm very sure tat she loves me to the core. often i tried to agitate her by saying tat i found a new alabul. she'll down there yelled like a baby and i jus simply love tat face of hers. so cute and innocent. haha.

one thing i'm very glad to see is tat customers came in one by one n frm there, they made frens and became regulars of destiny. i mean which pub will haf this kinda relationships whereby there's frenship growing and waitresses as well as the boss will drink together and get drunk together? whenever there's an occasion, the whole pub will celebrate together as one and not forgetting the christmas party when all of us were so engross in spraying the foams. those memories will be so vivid in my mind and those times were so great. not forgetting the times where by jimmy n esther quarrels, we'll be the victim and peace maker for them. haha. patching them together and listening ear for them too. mahjong sessions and supper after work had also strengthen the bond between us. times at thai disco, dragonfly and other clubs really dance our hearts out and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. i jus had this 2nd home feeling in me tat makes me doesnt bear to leave tat place. times when regulars were feeling down, when chris came in wif his 3/4 pants and seaweeds, when those funny singers sing, when ppl "merlion". really many wonderful memories.

right now, i jus wanna thanks my frens who had supported me at destiny. thanks to regulars who's there to play games wif me, keeping me occupied. thanks boss chris, esther and jimmy for ur supper and dinner treats. n thanks girlgirl, for being my listening ear whenever i worked till very bek chek. afterall, i jus miss destiny! i wonder how m i supposed to get used to not going destiny after every midnight. i'll be tossing and turning on my bed, thinkin of the wonderful memories tat we had.
